Terms of Agreement & Cancellation Policy

By booking a trip and agreeing to my terms of agreement, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following:

Cancellation Policy: A deposit of $100 is required to reserve your trip. I offer free cancellation or rescheduling if I’m notified more than 7 days before the date of your trip. Cancellations with less than 7 days' notice, including no-shows, will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. To modify or cancel your trip, please call or text me at (512) 902-2797.

Inclement Weather Policy: Cancellations due to inclement weather are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. I reserve the right to wait up to 12 hours before your trip to decide if the weather will be an issue. This can be a tough call sometimes due to weather in the Hill Country being super unpredictable and able to flip on a dime. Dangerous weather like heavy rain, lightning, or high winds may be cause for cancellation/rescheduling. Please be aware that I will not cancel trips for light to moderate rain. I constantly monitor the weather and will contact you if your booked trip has weather concerns. Safety is always my top priority.

Financial Responsibilities: I understand that sometimes rods and other gear will break while fighting fish or casting. This is understandable, and clients are not liable for this. Clients will be financially responsible for any lost or broken gear due to client negligence. Client negligence includes: stepping on fishing rods, mishandling rod causing it to break, hitting rod against something causing it to break, kicking rod overboard, dropping or throwing rod and reel in lake, sitting on rod, etc. Clients will be required to reimburse Fishin ATX Guide Service for the full cost of broken/ lost gear.

Trip payment: A deposit of $100 is required to reserve your trip. The rest of the payment will be made at the conclusion of the trip. I accept cash (preferred), checks, Venmo, Cash App, or debit/credit cards.

Please note: Mansfield Dam Park and Loop 360 Bridge Boat Ramp are operated by the Travis County Parks Department. They charge $5 per person to enter the park. They only accept cash or check; this is a separate fee not associated with Fishin ATX Guide Service.
