How’s It Going Y’all, I’m Charlie Murphy AKA “Fishin ATX”

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and have spent my entire life fishing the lakes, rivers, ponds, and creeks of Central Texas. Bass fishing has been my burning passion and obsession since I was 6 years old. Now, at 21 years old, it has grown into something much greater than I ever could have imagined. I first gained recognition through my YouTube channel, Fishin ATX, where I travel across Central Texas creating fishing content and sharing my experiences on the water. That platform has allowed me to connect with anglers across the country and build strong relationships within the fishing industry. I currently attend Tarleton State University, where I compete as a member of the nationally ranked Texans Bass Club. When I’m not traveling and fishing tournaments across the country, I’m back home fishing local tournaments, guiding on local waters, and helping others experience what makes bass fishing so special. I love guiding because it allows me to share my knowledge, experience, and passion with others while helping them create lasting memories on the water.
